Your fisherman runs automatically through the trail toward the lake. The game scrolls sideways as obstacles appear — rocks, logs, and bushes. You need to jump over high obstacles and duck under swinging logs to avoid losing lives and gear!
Worms, bait boxes, and gold coins float along the path — run into them to collect them! The more gear you gather, the more bait you'll have for fishing, and the bigger the fish you can catch. Gear also adds bonus points!
The distance bar at the top shows how close you are to the fishing spot. Collect as much gear as possible before the 🎣 icon reaches the end. Watch your lives — if you lose them all, the run ends early!
You've made it to the lake! Your fisherman casts the line and the bobber floats on the water. Wait patiently for it to suddenly dip underwater — that's a bite! Hit STRIKE (or press Space / tap) the instant it dips!
Strike too early or too late and you miss — wasting one bait. With enough gear you'll get more attempts. The better your gear score, the bigger fish you can catch: Meadow Bass (100pts), Sunny Perch (250pts), or Crown Trout (500pts)!
The most common catch. You'll hook one if you collected only a little gear. Still worth points — every fish counts!
A mid-tier catch. Requires moderate gear collection. A satisfying haul for any angler!
The legendary catch! Only possible with a full gear bag. Requires 6+ gear items and a perfect strike. The Big Bass Meadow!
